Our client, a leader in the paint and coatings industry, is seeking a formulation chemist for their company located in the U.S. Midwest.

The successful candidate will be someone who definitely knows his or her way around when it comes to formulating coatings.

The company is certainly willing to "put its money where its mouth is," too. The right candidate can start out with a salary as high as $80,000 per year (dependent upon experience), plus a total benefits package. In this role, you will support the sales force. When a customer has a formulation need, you will communicate with the customer or prospect, understand their needs and then work on the bench to create a formulation that will address what they are looking for. Each opportunity and formulation will be unique. This enables you to use your creativeness, entrepreneurial spirit and communication skills to develop unique and innovative products. REQUIREMENTS
The IDEAL candidate will. . . .Currently be employed as a chemist/formulator of architectural OR industrial paints and coatings.
Have three to five years' experience in paint and coatings formulation.
Have a bachelor's degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, polymer science or related discipline.
Have a stable career history.
Be able to work for any employer in the United States.
