Tenant Renegotiator

Purpose:
Summary

The position reports to the Manager, Tenant Renegotiations, and has responsibility for negotiation activity with existing tenants at wireless tower sites including financial and duration of lease terms for expired and expiring leases and other tenant requests regarding such terms. The renegotiator will be assigned a workload of individual matters to work with existing tenants to reach business terms that are consistent with company policies and procedures regarding such leases and tenant types. Requires that the individual be able to handle an active workload of both outbound and inbound calls and work with other departments to resolve issues regarding equipment, preparation of leases and preparation of financial analyses to recommend and fulfill course of action to resolve issues. Will be responsible for reporting to Manager on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis as to results of performance including financial effect and sheer volume of work accomplished during applicable period.


Functions

-Intake and management of large number of individual cases from tenants seeking to amend terms of existing leases including financial terms and duration of lease; -Ability to resolve cases in cost effective and expedient manner consistent with company goals, policies and procedures for management of churn and protection and perpetuation of tenant revenue; -Requires ability to read wireless tenant leases and interpret financial, business, legal and equipment terms and conditions and assemble such information to negotiate favorable outcomes; and -Must be able to identify and work with other company resources to reach successful conclusion of negotiations including review of prepared lease documents including amendments or new leases, familiarity with and use of company systems and procedures to complete assigned tasks.


Knowledge and Skills

-Prefer minimum one (1) year work experience in positions requiring negotiation experience with experience in wireless industry a plus; -Project management experience a plus; -Analytical, well organized and demonstrated ability to meet deadlines; -Excellent communication skills; and -Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products


Education
