Tax Analyst

oIdentify, document and coordinate training of development & testing standards and procedures.
oEnsure development and testing standards are followed for all new tax content features and functionality.
oParticipate in SAS70 Audit and respond to information/document requests.
oTrack and manage new product development requests to completion.
oProvide tax technical analysis of development and testing documentation for new product features.
oEnsure product development requests are properly completed and documentation is provided by development and/or testing groups to adequately explain new features and fixes to customers in relation to tax content development.
oCreate and coordinate delivery of internal (cross functional) and external (customer facing) communications including status reporting of various tax content education projects.
oWork as a liaison with the Education department to communicate product release information to our customers and provide subject matter expertise.
oParticipate as a member of the Tax Content Leadership team.
REQUIREMENTS
oStrong leadership skills
oProcess and team oriented
oExperience with tax research and software development processes and tools
oStrong written and oral communication skills
o5+ years experience in corporate income tax and/or partnership income tax
oKnowledge and understanding of income tax marketplace; tax department processes and business requirements related to large companies
oStrong customer service skills, including the ability to translate technology process methodology into effective educational communications
oLooking for person who can maintain positive attitude in a sometimes stressful and constantly evolving industry
