Statistical Analyst Senior

Experian, a global leader in providing information solutions to organizations and consumers, is seeking a highly motivated Statistical Analyst to join our team at our Costa Mesa, California headquarters.

Responsibilities:

*Data extraction from mainframe archives.
*Performing appropriate analytics on the extracted data.
*Cleanse, manipulate, and interpret the data.
*Conduct extensive analytics including: Model Score Validations; Decision Tree Analysis; Profit Optimization; Segmentation and Trend Analysis; and Univariate and Multivariate Analysis.
*Analytics focus on the full B2B and B2C customer lifecycle and include proprietary and custom acquisition, response, fraud and attrition models, and portfolio optimization that trigger analytics and delinquency/collections.
*Data extraction and analytics are performed using statistical software including SAS and KnowledgeSeeker.
*SQL and Excel are used to provide creative solutions for internal and external clients.
REQUIREMENTS
Requirements:

*Previous experience with statistical analysis analytics in a B2B and B2C environment.
*Bachelor’s degree in Statistics or related discipline with a Master’s degree preferred.
*Knowledge and experience in a systems environment such as UNIX and Mainframe that facilitates extraction, manipulation, and processing of data.
*At least 5 years of experience working with SAS.
*At least 5 years of experience with statistical analytics, preferably with commercial data.
*Knowledge of SQL, Excel, and KnowledgeSeeker is preferred.
*Exposure to scoring model development is a plus.
