About the role:Design high performance LVDS, HSTL, SSTL, and LVCMOS, PCI, PCIX IO buffers for next generation Flash FPGAsDesign clock conditioning and synchronization circuits for multi-clock domainsDesign power detection - power-up/down circuitsPerform circuit simulations for developed circuits at both cell and higher levelsSimulate chip level SSI and SSO effectsManage and review layout for developed circuitsWork with marketing during design feasibility stage, provide design alternativesConduct EM and IR drop simulations and analysis.Adjust foundry-provided ESD design and layout implementation to FPGA power supplies and IO requirementsDocument circuit simulation results, ESD, EM, IR drop, SSI, and SSO resultsCreate design specifications, concept review documents, design review documents and tapeout reviews.Participate in silicon debug activities.Interact with the device characterization, marketing and product engineering teams.
REQUIREMENTS
Education and Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Master’s preferred.Proficient in HSPICE, HSIM and OPUS, ADMS knowledge a plus.8-10 Years I/O Analog Design experience preferred.Experience with EM analysis tools. (VoltageStorm)Experience with signal integrity analysis.Understanding of ESD design techniques.
