Sr. Machinist

Purpose:
Position Responsibilities:

This position works as a heavy equipment mechanic, a welder and a machinist maintaining and repairing all production equipment in a daily newspaper printing facility. Must be able to work various shift to cover 24/7 operation including nights and weekends.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications & Requirements:

Strong mechanical aptitude and machining skills are required to troubleshoot and repair equipment problems. Minimum of three years newspaper experience in maintenance and repairs. The ability to read blueprints and equipment drawings, experience with pneumatic and hydraulic systems, and experience operating common machine shop and welding equipment.
