Job Requirements:
General understanding of records management concepts required, including document hold notices and record retention schedules, and archive management
2 years of related experience
Good written and verbal communications skills
Must be self starter and think independently but must also be willing to learn and accept instructions. Good team player and people skills essential.
Ability to spot problem areas and identify when involvement of records manager is required.
Perseverance and ability to elicit response and affect outcomes with limited authority
Routine MS WORD and Excel skills required; MS PowerPoint desired. Knowledge of MS Access or exposure to other database required, or demonstrated familiarity with office software and the ability to learn basic skills quickly.

Must have initiative and act polite and professional at all times. Candidate can not be timid and afraid to ask questions.

Job Description:
Contributes to the implementation and day-to-day operations of a company-wide Records Compliance Program (RCP) in support of corporate requirements for records management compliance per corporate requirements.

'Manage all aspects of offsite records archive
'Cataloging, classification, and subsequent ongoing reconciliation and management of the offsite records inventory by maintaining database of the Offsite Records Inventory.
'Control and maintenance of archived records by reviewing monthly activity reports and assisting with an annual records review.
'Vendor relationship management: Interact with records storage vendor personnel on issues such as record transfers and destruction, inventory and billing reconciliation, and activity tracking.
'Customer support: Analyst coordinates and expedites record traffic from and to records storage. Educates records coordinators and internal customers on the processes related to record storage and retention.
'Implementation of archive tracking database

'Assist with the development of a vital records program by participating in needs assessment and following up on record protection activities.

'Participate in other records compliance initiatives as needed including, but not limited to, the annual CleanSweep event, vital record protection (scanning), record destruction, and supporting training, outreach, and audit activities.

'Daily interaction with departmental coordinators on issues related to records compliance, primarily concerning record retention and offsite records storage. Occasional interaction with management-level staff,

'Support company-wide records-management training in the role of ComplianceWire administrator. Administer training requirements and run reports on completed and outstanding training.

'Support Documentum in the role of a Records Policy Administrator to ensure proper lifecycle management and document hold administration for documents housed within the Documentum repository.

Position Classification: Temp Hire (1 year contract)

Special Hiring Requirements: Drug Test and Criminal Background Screen.
