R&D Tax Specialist, Manager-Director

KBKG, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated leader to join our company’s newest division—R&D Tax Credit Consulting. With a history dating back to 1939, KBKG is a nationwide leader in providing a wide variety of tax services, including cost segregation studies. We are now expanding into R&D Tax Credits.

For the right individual, this position has an extremely high upside as compensation will be directly tied to bottom line profits. Because of our rapidly growing business there will be ample opportunity for advancement and promotion.

Compensation is highly competitive with bonus.

Responsibilities Include:
•Using your accounting, research and development tax credit, research and experiment, R&E tax credit, tax, law or research experimentation knowledge to identify lucrative opportunities to secure such Tax incentives.
•Conduct interviews with highly knowledgeable researchers.
•Attend client meetings with Tax Partners and professionals.
•Participate in all aspects of engagement strategic planning initiatives.
•Assist in selling services directly to clients.
REQUIREMENTS
The ideal candidate will have the following credentials:

• 5+ years of R&D experience required (preferred in a Big Four accounting firm or a large regional accounting firm, but not required)
• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred
•CPA preferred
•Prior supervisory experience
•Excellent project management and presentation skills required
•Excellent verbal and technical writing skills
•Strong Windows application skills, especially Excel and Word
•Flexibility to travel up to 50% of the work week domestically.
•Professional demeanor
•Strong work ethic
