QA Lead

As the QA Lead, reporting to the VP of Engineering, you will oversee all QA processes and perform hands-on testing for our New/Used Lead Product.Primary Responsibilities Implement the highest level of Quality Assurance processes
Participate in product requirements gathering and formulate a test plan the early stages of product development
Oversee the development and execution of software test plans, test execution and analysis and reporting of test results
Architect, design and develop all necessary tools for automated testing, quality measurements and release of code
Develop new development processes for cost reduction, development cycle reduction and quality improvements
Approve all code releases to production
Take ownership and responsibility for quality of code meeting specifications, and timelines
Take ownership and responsibility for the ongoing performance quality of the Search application
Provide leadership in unit testing all software functionality and coordinate corrective action when necessary
Participate in application UI reviews and improve the efficiency and quality of our user processes
Carry a pager to be notified and respond to rare applications problemsRequired SkillsBachelors Degree
7+ years of Quality Assurance experience
Exceptional problem solving skill - especially with problems that may be beyond your breadth of knowledge2+ years experience designing and developing within a software development team
Understanding of software testing methodologies (white and black box)
Experience creating test plans/cases from functional specifications
Experience with automated testing tools at both the API and UI level
Experience gathering and analyzing software quality metrics
Thorough knowledge of Windows Server 2000/2003, SQL Server and website services
Strong organizational skills
Must have great written and oral skills
Must be able to successfully interact with people that are both technical and non-technical
