We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join the Citysearch “Project Management Office (PMO)” team. The PMO team is responsible for all aspects of project management from project initiation through implementation. The PMO team in particular is involved in requirements gathering, writing functional specifications (including use cases), creating project schedules, and managing development tasks and timelines associated with the implementation of projects. In this position, you will lead cross-functional teams for multiple concurrent projects to deliver superior products for Citysearch.

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Project Manager will manage the full project lifecycle from initiation through implementation, including writing project specifications, setting schedules, managing tasks, obtaining approvals, leveling resources and troubleshooting.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Write functional requirements by translating the product manager’s business needs into functional requirements – through thorough understanding of existing systems, processes, and website functionality

Work with other Project Managers to set and maintain structured project management methodologies and provide recommendations for process improvements.

Review incoming project initiatives and determine functional and departmental impact

Interact daily with all departments involved in the project lifecycle: Product, Content, Sales, Marketing and Technology

Regularly communicate with Executives and Department Heads regarding progress of assigned projects

Initiate and lead project meetings and teams; manage all documents associated with projects

Ensure compliance with current project implementation process

Maintain project-related forms and process documents and initiate changes where appropriate.

REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

8 years of business experience and 3+ years of direct project management experience, managing full project lifecycle and resource leveling for multiple project teams in a fast-paced environment.

Proven track record of managing multiple complex web development projects, leading cross-functional matrixed teams.

Proven experience developing relationships and developing trust with multiple departments

Expertise in MS Project, Visio, Outlook, Word and Excel

Excellent verbal and written communication skills and presentation skills; must be able to lead diverse teams.

Confident self-starter with high standards of accuracy and attention to detail

Ability to organize and prioritize tasks and lead project team members to ensure timely implementation of assigned projects

Solid decision-making and problem solving skills

Knowledge of basic software development lifecycle and methodologies, and technical development documentation
