Project Accountant

Project AccountantOverall Responsibility: Review and analyze project status, budgets, schedules, contracts and job cost
Responsible for fiduciary 3rd party investor reporting
Accounting for project LLCs
Preparation of monthly financial statements for project LLC
Prepare draw packages for submission to partnership investors.Key Areas of Responsibility: Monthly monitoring of project status, budgets, contracts and expenses
Monthly reconciliation of draw packages and job cost budgets.
Review consultant contracts for accuracy and completeness.
Some responsibilities for accounts payable.
Review project budgets and status with project management.
Assist Director of Finance & Controller with analysis of project budget and contract status.Consults with: Accounting department
Administration
Project managementQualifications: BS/BA Degree in Accounting or Finance
Strong knowledge of Excel and Word
Real estate development and construction accounting experience a plus
Experience with Timberline a plus or other Real Estate accounting software
Ability to multi-task, prioritize and be detail-oriented
