Operations Specialist I

Group Overview:


Operations Specialists in the Retail Operations Center (ROC) perform
a variety of functions and services for our Individual Investor
client group. An integral part of this role includes processing and
internal and external client contact. The processing aspect
encompasses tasks such as new account opening, account updating,
customer correspondence, transfer of accounts, wired funds, received
/ issued checks and stock certificates.



Responsibilities:


In this role, you will be asked to switch gears throughout the day to
assist with meeting critical cut-off times or high volume processing
spikes. Flexibility is a key aspect of this role and the ideal
candidate will need to be equally comfortable with direct client
interaction as they receive inbound client service calls and network
internally to research and resolve client operational issues. To be
effective in this role, the ideal candidate will demonstrate the
ability to build and sustain strong relationships with clients and
partnerships with associates in the Branch and Investor business
segments. Partnership and respect within the team are also a
requirement as there may be times when the specialist is called upon
to coach, train or mentor their peer group. Quality, accuracy,
accountability are key attributes that will mark the finalists for
this position.



Qualifications:


The ideal candidate will possess demonstrated brokerage, banking back
office or operational experience, coupled with demonstrated customer
service skills and experience. Cross-functional operational
knowledge or experience in account opening, processing, cashiering,
wire transfers, etc. is strongly desirable. 10-key skills are
required and Microsoft Excel and Word experience is a plus.

and written communication skills and interpersonal skills.
Additionally, they will be extremely detail oriented and
conscientious. Candidate must be flexible with regard to both
schedule and role as both may change with little notice in response
to market activity and business demand.


Series 7 & 63 licenses are desirable.
