We have excellent opportunities for experienced MRI Techs. Responsible for performing magnetic resonance imaging procedures with an understanding of imaging techniques, reconstruction and calibration as required. Knowledge and ability of digital processing with image transfer and storage on PACS. Assists physicians, interprets orders, and explains procedures to nursing staff, patients, and families. Possess a thorough knowledge of FDA MR safety standards regarding ferrous objects and cardiac pacemakers for all persons who may enter the magnetic field. Ability to possess a thorough understanding of department operations in order to assist non-technical staff in processing paperwork, films, and expediting patient transportation.
REQUIREMENTS
Must have BLS plus IV Cert. with minimum of 1-3 years in specific field; 5 or more years preferred with ARRT.
