Turf Star Inc, the exclusive distributor for TORO equipment in California, has an opportunity for a talented and motivated Service Technician based out of our Brea Set Up and Repair facility.

The Inside Service Technician performs all types of mechanical repairs and maintenance work on commercial and contractor products. This position also performs small engine overhaul and maintenance on gas and diesel engines, hydraulic systems work, welding, and minor painting, assists in maintenance of the shop area, tools, and equipment.

REQUIREMENTS
The successful candidate will have: High School education or equivalent Evidence of specialized education in gas/diesel maintenance and repairExperience as a service technician for a minimum of 1 yearAbility to read, write, and speak the English language conversationallyBi-lingual in the Spanish language a plusWorking with Turf Equipment a definite plus.Clean DMV record.The essential job functions are as listed; however not limited to the following:Responsible for trouble shooting and repairing mechanical problems connected with commercial products.Performs repair and maintenance on small gas and diesel engines and machine's hydraulic and/or electrical systems.Performs both simple and complicated blade sharpening duties.Set up new equipment for customers and/or demonstrators as season demands for use by Turf Star Sales Representatives.Recondition used and lease return equipment for resales as required.Responsible for following processes and procedures as appropriate to his/her job function and position.Follow safety and environmental regulations.Turf Star Inc. offers:Competitive Wage; based upon the qualifications of the selected candidate.
