Event Manager

SMG/Miami Beach Convention Center is seeking an Event Manager to work in our Event Svcs Dept. This position coordinates client needs with building staff to assure proper set-up and smooth operations of events. Excellent health and welfare benefits provided! SALARY NEGOTIABLE UP TO A MAX OF $45,000K. Requirements: BA in Hospitality Mgmt desired, but not required. 2 years of event management exp in a public assembly facility or hotel environmenta highly desired. Excellent interpersonal, organizational and customer service skills required. Ability to work long, often irregular hours, including nights, weekends as required by events. Excellent computer skills.
