Environmental GCMS Chemist

An Analytical Laboratory committed to high-quality, client service, with capabilities at extremely low detection limits, and located in the Los Angeles area is seeking an EXPERIENCED Environmental Chemist with GCMS experience.

Responsibilities include:

Routine Maintenance and Operation of GCs (Agilent, HP, and Shimatzu)

Preparation and Analysis of Samples (sea water, drinking water, fresh water, storm water, sediments, and tissues) for PCB, PAH, Pesticide, and Herbicide.

Perform documentation of quality control measures to ensure continuing certification by CA DHS ELAP

Experience:

At least one year of experience with environmental analyses by EPA methods

GC/MS experience is a MUST, Agilent brand preferred.
