Business Analyst

Volt Technical Resources is searching for a Business Analyst with zero to Three years experience in an analytical position utilizing database programs and spreadsheet software. Demonstrated experience in gathering, documenting, analyzing and drawing conclusions on data and information. Demonstrated experience in performing a variety of functions and handling programs, projects, and assignments.
Gather documents and researches data on assigned topics, using databases, files, spreadsheets, or other sources. Prepare analysis based on information from internal and external sources. Assist in the maintenance (in Access) of records, logs, documents, files or databases for use in monitoring, tracking and trending program/project costs, resources, schedules, and status for management. Support presentations given by other analysts and supervisors. Deals regularly with information having a minor to moderate department impact. Uses skills and experience in addressing issues with minor to moderate impact. Requirements:

Candidate must be computer savvy with the ability to learn proprietary programs quickly . Knowledge of and experience in the following programs: MS Word, MS Excel (create formulated spreadsheets, graphs, and other intermediate level tasks), PowerPoint (Create presentations from given information and material), MS Access (analyze and interpret existing databases)
Associate Degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
