Business Unit: GE Commercial Finance, Capital SolutionsFunction: OperationsResponsibilities: *Facilitate VF Originations operations process improvement efforts required to support VF growth playbook initiatives.
Utilize LEAN to identify improvement opportunities both internally & externally.
Leads Quality projects: monitor and manage project progress against budget and plan.
Lead and/or facilitate the use of statistical techniques for generating, organizing and processing data through the use of Minitab, Excel, Access, and other database software programs.
Coach and mentor team members and process owners in utilizing a defined Lean Six Sigma process improvement methodology that analyzes and interprets data for decision making.
Facilitate meetings, discussions.
Conduct written and oral project updates for senior management and Business Leaders.
Utilize Best Practices where possible to accelerate change.
Assist in the delivery of Quality training programs and initiatives.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications: *5 years front-end experience; sales and/or operations.
Bachelor's degree in Business or related field or a minimum of 6 years experience in an Operational role focused on Process Improvements.
Technical skills should include working experience in Windows NT and Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Minitab desirable.
Two or more years experience or education in statistics, project management, finance, engineering, systems and/or audit.
Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
Demonstrated success in influencing behavioral changes to accelerate positive results.
Proven ability to execute in a dynamic environment.
Excellent team facilitation and knowledge of team problem solving techniques.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Proven ability to accomplish goals through collaborative effort.
Green Belt Certification required.Desired: *BS or equivalent work experience in technical discipline of mathematics, engineering, psychology or equivalent experience
MBA
Proven experience leading projects and applying statistical analysis
Previous experience on DMAIC or Lean team, either as a Green Belt or as a team leaderGeneral: *Ability to handle matters in a confidential manner
