Utilization Review is responsible for prospective, retrospective and concurrent Utilization Review activities. He/She is a member of the Multidisciplinary Team, and monitors the documentation for accuracy and clinical compliance. He/She is also responsible for organizing, directing and coordinating Utilization Review activities within the facility in accordance with standards of State and Federal regulations; and in accordance with accreditation and payor guidelines. Licensed to practice clinical discipline in the appropriate state, if applicable.


Knowledge of Utilization Review and Performance Improvement principles and standardsKnowledge of psychiatric diagnoses, treatments, and clinical documentation.Knowledge of data collection and statistical analysis.

The Watershed Addiction Treatment Programs is seeking caring professionals to staff our new state-of-the-art private addiction treatment program opening this summer in beautiful Boynton Beach, Florida! We are also seeking caring staff for our continuing operations at our Delray Beach, Florida, and Houston, Texas facilities.

Our patients are voluntary, highly functional people struggling with the disease of addiction. Care is provided to patients in the detoxification, rehabilitation, and extended-care phases of addiction treatment.

REQUIREMENTS


Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Nursing, or health-related field.

A minimum of one (1) year clinical experience, preferably in Utilization Review. R.N. Preferred. Experience in an a behavioral health care setting preferred.
