TeleHealth Nurse (315089)

Lockheed Martin Information Technology-Professional Services is looking for a Registered Nurse to support the Telehealth program at Naval Hospital Pensacola. Candidate will apply professional skills and knowledge of established concepts, principles and practice to provide telehealth nursing services including, but not limited to, health information, health education, healthcare assessment and triage. Applies the nursing process to identify and prioritize healthcare triage interventions that are appropriate and accurate, effective and reduces the risk of adverse outcomes. Utilizes approved computer software applications to provide telehealth nursing. The Telehealth RN will work closely with the healthcare team to ensure appropriate access to care, patient-centered care to all age groups and customer satisfaction with an emphasis on patient empowerment. REQUIREMENTS
US citizen eligible for a government security clearance (selected applicant will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. This position requires a minimum of five years experience in various specialties in either emergency nursing, medical-surgical nursing, or ambulatory nursing, but this requirement may be waived on a case by case basis. Current BLS certification required. Education:Baccalaureate of Science in Nursing degree from an accredited educational institution is required but may be waived on a case by case basis. Successful completion of clinical telehealth nursing orientation to standardized telephone triage protocols, interviewing techniques, systematic assessment, documentation and customer service/conflict resolution. Naval Hospital Pensacola’s hospital orientation, annual training, Departmental Orientation, Telehealth CEU training, Composite Healthcare System (CHCS) ICD9/CPT/Ambulatory Data System (ADM), telephone systems, customer service, and telehealth nursing computer software applications.
