TRAUMA PROGRAM COORDINATOR

At our tertiary care hospital, you'll encounter the meaningful challenges you seek.Primary Purpose: The Trauma Coordinator is a registered nurse who is responsible for assisting the Trauma Program Director in planning, developing, facilitating, implementing, monitoring and evaluation of all aspects of the trauma program. The Trauma Coordinator oversees quality improvement activities, collaborates with the injury prevention personnel and acts as clinical resource to all departments? responsible for care of the trauma patient. He/she also provides and coordinates education for the trauma services within the hospital and assists in development and maintenance of appropriate and required clinical reports for the hospital, county Emergency Medical Services and the State of Arizona. Reporting Relationship: The Trauma Coordinator reports to the Trauma Program Director. Minimum Qualifications: 1. Graduate of a professional school of nursing with current Arizona RN license. 2. BSN degree preferred in health-related or business related field with emphasis on emergency, critical care and/or pediatrics 3. Three years professional nursing experience in critical care or emergency nursing, with a background in trauma care; preferably in a pediatric setting 4. Demonstrated teaching skills required. 5. Must be able to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with all hospital staff, health professional, public and community agencies, and the general public. 6. Demonstrated ability to function effectively in a fast-paced, complex, health care environment. 7. BLS, PALS, ENPC and TNCC. CBWhen you join us, you'll enjoy great benefits such as:
