DaysPosition Summary: University Hospital and Medical Center is seeking a qualified professional to fill the position of Stroke Coordinator. Some of the duties of the selected candidate will be: - Assure appropriate actions based on analysis of improvement opportunities as related to Stroke Program. - Assure updates of Plan of Care based on relevant patient data/change in condition when performing concurrent review related to strokes. Conduct intermittent daily patient rounds insuring identification and resolution of patient issues and concerns. Function as a mentor/educator of Stroke Programs based on educational need of staff. Expert resource on Stroke Alert Protocols to staff and physicians. Educates staff on Stroke Alert Protocol changes.
