Armor Correctional Health Services is seeking highly-motivated staff for REGISTERED NURSE POSITIONS at our state-of-the-art facilities.

We have Physicians, Mid-Level Providers, RN's, LPN's, MA's, EMT's, Dentists, Medical Records Staff, Mental Health Staff and an experienced Management Team to work with.

RN's for Staff Positions will work in one of the Infirmaries and/or the Booking Department. RN's can also serve as relief Supervisors with the right qualifications.

We currently have openings on most shifts for Full-Time, Part-Time or PRN slots.

REQUIREMENTS
QUALIFICATIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THE RIGHT CANDIDATE:

Responsible for the health care management of inmates admitted to the Infirmary. Providing health care services to inmates housed in the Infirmary based on the Physician's orders

OR

Responsible to managed the Booking Department to assess patients as they come in the jail. Manages the flow of intakes and ancillary staff

Maintains and reports statistical data related to appropriateness and utilization of Infirmary Services.

Utilizes SOAPE charting format to document each patients condition according to established policy and procedure.

Assures completion of all ordered tests, treatments and procedures.

Initiates an inpatient health record for all new Infirmary Admissions and conducts a History & Physical Exam on all patients on admission.

Establishes nursing care plans for all Infirmary Admissions and maintains an active Kardex.

Actively participates in Quality Improvement Activities.

Completes narcotic and sharp item counts at the beginning and at the end of the shift.

Completes and documents the inspection of all safety and emergency equipment.

Makes at least daily rounds on infirmary patients and prepares them for the Physician visits.

Notifies the Physician of a patients changing condition as indicated.

Assists patients with activities of daily living as necessary, based on the patients condition.

Maintains the overall cleanliness and order of the Infirmary and ensures a safe and sanitary environment.

Evaluate and provide comprehensive nursing care in the Infirmary while observing and maintaining the requirements of Security.

Possess excellent Medical Surgical Skills.

Maintain Current CPR Certification.

Ability to pass Security Clearance.

Florida State License
