Graduate of a one year AMA approved program, ability to work in critical care units, FL license and BCLS required. N.I.C.U./P.I.C.U. experience and Servo 900C ventilator experience preferred.General Responsibility:This position requires the Respiratory Therapist to be proficient in the treatment of respiratory disorders for inpatients and outpatients with various types of media, i.e., oxygen and other therapeutic gases and mist inhalation equipment. This position also requires intimate knowledge of both department and hospital policies and procedures relating to the field of Cardio-Pulmonary Sciences. Interpretive skills, frequent interactive and consultative association are inherent in this position. The ability to retrieve, communicate, or otherwise present information in a written, auditory or visual fashion is essential. The primary method to express or exchange ideas is by the spoken work. Written, telephone and manual dexterity skills are required for this position.
REQUIREMENTS
Graduate of a one-year AMA approved program. FL license and BCLS required. NICU/PICU expierence and Servo 900C ventilator experience preferred.
