PNA, a Correctional Healthcare Leader, is actively seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide nursing care to residents of the correctional facility according to the facility, Physicians Network Association (PNA), Local, State and Federal policies and regulations.

ENVIRONMENTAL/WORKING CONDITIONS:

Position is located in a correctional facility. Work is performed in a secure, enclosed facility. The environment can be noisy. Protection from weather conditions provided, not necessarily from temperature changes. Frequent exposure to communicable diseases or body fluids is possible.

PHYSICAL CAPABILITIES:
Must be able to stand for long periods Extensive walking may be required.Occasional lifting and carrying of up to 50 lbs. Requires full range of body motion.Vision correctable to 20/30, talking and hearing required

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Ability to maintain accurate documentation and records.Knowledge of nursing practices.Must be able to perform tasks outlined in Policy and Procedure manual and in accordance with all applicable State and Federal regulations and various healthcare standards.Ability to relate well to demanding patients in stressful situations.

REQUIRED LICENSURES/EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

Certification as a Registered Nurse valid in the state of practice required Graduation from an accredited nursing program approved by the State Board of Nurse Examiners required
