St. Francis is currently seeking Registered Nurses for our Emergency Dept. The Registered Nurse will:


Plan patient care based on nursing assessment, diagnosis, medical treatments and patient's and/or significant other's level of understanding with regard to their age and developmental needs.

Provide age appropriate patient care according to planned interventions to attain the patient's optimal level of wellness and documents according to policy.

Support the continuous improvement of quality

Demonstrate behaviors which exemplify professional conduct and teamwork.
REQUIREMENTS

Must possess a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university.


Must have and maintain a current, valid RN license and current, valid CPR certification.


Emergency experience preferred.


Must be able to make independent decisions concerning job duties.

Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with the patient, personnel, family members, visitors, and the general public.

Must be knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines.
