In 1994, The Institute of Living, a psychiatric hospital founded in 1822, became the Mental Health Division of Hartford Hospital.

Hours: FT 40 hours, days.In the psychiatric geriatric unit. Uses nursing process to provide all levels of patient care and functions as charge nurse/team leader, which orients student/new personnel. Crisis Intervention. Geriatrics preferred.As a teaching hospital, Hartford Hospital is a primary affiliate of the University of Connecticut School of Medicine and Dentistry for both graduate and undergraduate medical education.

AD, BS Nursing. Valid CT RN license.
