RN Wound Care - Registered Nurse Wound Care

The RN Wound Care, registered nurse, is responsible for providing nursing care to residents as prescribed by the physician. The RN is also responsible to comply with the standard nursing practices and regulations as directed by the Director of Nursing.

Other Job functions:

Specific knowledge of wound care

Supervise licensed and non-licensed nursing personnel

Deliver direct resident care to all residents

Assign specific duties concerning residents care

Ensure proper staffing by calling in replacements for nursing personnel

Train and / or assist in the training of new employees

Participate in the interviewing and hiring of nursing assistants

The requirements for the RN, registered nurse position are:

Must be a licensed nurse in good standing and currently licensed by the state

Understanding of state and federal rules and regulations that govern the practices of the facility

Basic knowledge of the elder care industry preferred, but not necessary
