RN Registered Nurse - Multi-System Progressive Care (PCU)

Our Multi-System Progressive Care Units in our flagship hospital-Orlando- are currently recruiting the best RN’s for a variety of shifts on their very special units. Our ideal candidates are looking for professional growth, personal satisfaction and have a strong desire to make a difference in the lives of their patients and co-workers.

With 39 private beds on each unit, all patients are on a 24 hours remote telemetry. The diagnosis may include but are not limited to the following: anemia, chest pain, congestive heart failure, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, cerebral vascular accident, drug overdose, pneumonia, syncope, vascular insufficiencies, and various post-ops. The nurse to patient ratio is 4:1 with assistance from patient care technicians. There is an assistant nurse manager or charge nurse available for each shift. The unit also has a trained monitor technician 24 hours a day and health unit coordinators to complete orders and answer phones for the nursing staff. Registered Nurses will need multi-system and strong vascular experience. We will be caring for patients post surgical and interventional procedures of Carotid and peripheral vascular disease.
These PCU's encourage professional growth. A Nurse educator and clinical nurse specialist keep the staff up to date with new technology, procedures, medications, etc.

Minimum 1 year recent progressive/critical care experience required, for Multi-system specialty unit. Preferred rn’s with strong multi-system and strong vascular experience. Registered nurse must have a FL RN license or the ability to obtain a FL RN license.

May be eligible for sign-on bonus and relocation.
