RN - Med/Surg

Town & Country Hospital is a true community hospital, serving the healthcare needs of the people who live in northwest Hillsborough County. The hospital features all private rooms. It has a broad range of services, including an orthopedic/spine center, a pain management center, a skilled nursing unit, a bariatric and weight loss center, and a 20 bed alcohol and drug recovery unit. Town & Country also provides strong emergency services, outpatient surgical services and other outpatient programs and home health services.
REQUIREMENTS


The RN is responsible and accountable for directing, planning and organizing the nursing activities on the unit for an assigned shift with focus on patient, physician and staff needs. The RN is responsible for delivering skilled patient care through the nursing process in accordance with established policies and procedures; for coordinating care among patient care through the nursing process in accordance with established policies and procedures; for coordinating care among patient/family, medicine, nursing, ancillary, and other team personnel; acts as patient advocate; and maintains current knowledge and standards of professional nursing practice.

1.Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.

2.Experience of 1-2 years Medical/Surgical/OP preferred.

3.Current RN licensure in the state of Florida.

4.Current BLS certification

5.Must successfully complete written competency exam before hire with a minimum score of 85%.

6.Other experience/technical skills as assigned.
