CLINICAL NURSE MANAGER

Masonicare, in operation for over a century, is the largest not-for-profit senior focused healthcare provider in the State of Connecticut.

Masonic Healthcare Center, located in Wallingford, is currently in need of a Clinical Nurse Manager for our Dementia Skilled Long Term Care Unit.

He/She assumes 24-hour accountability for the clinical management of assigned unit, oversees the integrated care plan to insure it provides holistic, medical, spiritual and emotional care, encompassing quality, dignity, compassion and confidentiality for each individual and coordinates the daily operations of the unit and directs the delivery of patient care.

He/She will also oversee the implementation of standards of nursing practice to achieve optimal care center outcomes and insures the team utilizes quality customer service principles in their interactions.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Qualifications:

Education:
Graduate of school of professional nursing; BSN preferred.

Experience:
Five years clinical experience with knowledge in financial, regulatory and legal aspects of healthcare.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Current Connecticut State RN licensure required.

Key Competencies:
Clinical knowledge of the geriatric and dementia population. Good interpersonal and communication skills Leadership/team building skills. Self motivated, able to work independently. Strong organization skills. Process clinical documentation forms. Research information. Compile statistics. PC literate.
