The Patient Care Assistant must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served in his or her assigned area. BH Service Standards and support of healing enviornment are exhibited in all aspects of the performance of the Patient Care Assistant's performance. Expanded role includes validated skills that will assist the nurses in care delivery.
