Nurse Manager Endoscopy

DESCRIPTION: Full-time 40 hours, Monday to Friday, days.The Nurse Manager has twenty-four hour accountability for the clinical, fiscal and administrative management of patient care unit(s). He/she utilizes a continuous quality improvement process in all aspects of care and management; in accordance with the philosophy, policies, and standards of the Department of Nursing and Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center. Position may require working at both campuses or alternate site.
REQUIREMENTS
Education: B.S.N. required. Masters preferred.Experience: Documentation of 5 years of progressive nursing experience which includes progressive management responsibilities and: Knowledge of current trends and issues in nursing practice. Demonstration of clinical competence in area of nursing practice. Demonstration of leadership and management skills including communication, problem-solving, and decision-making. Ability to function as a professional role model.Licensure: Current licensure to practice professional nursing in Connecticut.
