NURSING

Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant The Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) will work in collaboration with a multi-disciplinary health team to provide comprehensive reproductive care, including STD diagnosis and treatment as well as HIV primary care, to outpatients in the Baltimore City STD Clinics. Will conduct comprehensive health assessments of patients. Obtain specimens including urogenital specimens for STD diagnosis; Pap cytology testing; blood, and urine tests. Establishes medical diagnosis, including psychosocial and cognitive problems. Provides instruction and education to patients. Maryland State licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant and current CPR certification required. Master's degree or equivalent also required.
