Come and be a part of Sebastian River Medical Center's Nursing staff. SRMC is seeking Nurses who will be committeed to SRMC's mission and help provide quality care to our patients.

Nurses at Sebastian River Medical Center cover many specialties, so no matter what the medical condition is, we are ready to care for our patients! Our staff is involved in all aspects of care, from pre-admission testing for surgery to daily hospital care, home care to wound care, emergency care and operative care. We care for all medical and surgical specialties and work closely with our medical staff to assure we are meeting our patients needs.

Our outpatient areas include Wound Care Center, Home Health Services, Pre-Admission Testing, Ambulatory Surgery and Emergency Room.

Our in-patient areas include four units.
Medical-Surgical Unit (M/S)– a 40 bed unit that cares for patients with general medical and, surgical needs including orthopedics, oncology, neurology, gynecology and urology needs.
Progressive Care Unit (PCU)– a 31 bed unit that cares for any patient that requires also cardiac monitoring.
Special Care Unit (SCU)– an 8-bed intermediate care unit for patients requiring a higher level of care and/or observation that M/S or PCU but who do not require ICU.
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) – an 8-bed unit prepared to care for our most critical patients.

Our patients are provided individualized care regardless of where they are in our system. Registered nurses guide the care provided by our nursing staff and monitor each patient’s progress. Patients and families are involved in care-making decisions with the physician and nursing staff.

REQUIREMENTS
Sebastian River Medical Center opened its doors on Feb. 17, 1974, and began serving the residents of Indian River and Brevard Counties. This facility has the luxury of being old enough to be established in the community while being young enough to offer the latest technology and services available in the health-care field.
