Hours: Pt-20 hours. Evening/Night and Weekend rotationManage all patient admissions/transfers, and collaborates with physicians regarding ICU patient placement Management accountability for all off shift coordinator personnel, as well as assume responsibility for Per Diem pool by assessing, placing, canceling and evaluating off shift staff. Liaison to hospital administrator on the off shift. Support and interprets the philosophy and goals of Hartford Hospital and the Department of Nursing.As a teaching hospital, Hartford Hospital is a primary affiliate of the University of Connecticut School of Medicine and Dentistry for both graduate and undergraduate medical education.

Hartford Hospital, along with MidState Medical Center, is a wholly-owned acute care subsidiary of Hartford Health Care Corporation (HHCC).
REQUIREMENTS
Current CT RN license required. BSN and must be currently enrolled or willing to enroll in Nursing Master's program which must be completed within 5 years ACLS/BLS required ( or obtained within 6 months). Management experience strongly preferred. Nursing certification within 5 years.
