Informatics Coordinator

Responsible for functional aspects of automation within patient care areas and provides clinical oversight, coordination and direction of clinical applications. Arranges software development, implementation and ongoing upgrades with the coordination of staff training. Collaborates with department leadership and information systems staff in the evaluation, analysis, design and development of clinical and business information systems. Responsible for needs assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of systems process training.

RN with valid Georgia license. At least five years of clinical nursing experience. Ability to communicate with all levels of personnel and manage complex interpersonal relationships. Sufficient knowledge of healthcare trends and the ability to incorporate this knowledge to support the organization in systems implementation. Demonstrate excellent leadership skills and ability to work under stress and deal effectively with others under stress. Able to manage multiple projects.
