We are currently recruiting for a Certified Respiratory Therapist to join our Repiratory Care Services.

Scope:
Performs all routine procedures of the department. Prioritizes patient therapy according to patient acuity on a daily basis. Accountable for administration, observation, charting and reporting effects of drugs, oxygen, respiratory treatments and other therapeutic and diagnostic measures. Demostrates knowledge of indications, cotraindications, hazards and troubleshooting of all treatments as assigned. Demonstrates effective and efficient care through clinical competencies at least annually. Demonstrates competency in drawing and/or running arterial blood gases at least annually. Completes all forms in medical record and departmental records accurately and legibly according to hospital/departmental policy and procedure. Demonstrates ability to teach and educate patient and family according to departmental policies and procedures.


Florida license for Certified Respiratory Therapist. BLS Certification.
Education : Graduate of an accredited program for Respiratory Care
Experience : 1-2 years general floor care experience
