Assistant Director of Nursing

To assist the Director of Nursing Services in planning, organizing, developing and directing the day-to-day functions of the Nursing Department in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern our facility, and as may be required by the Executive Director and Medical Director and/or the Director of Nursing Services, to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times. This position will direct and coordinate performance improvement activities of the facility and medical staff. To establish needed functions and assignments in conjunction with the Executive Director as they relate to the ongoing needs of the facility. This position will support those needs in a capacity that is self-directed, highly motivated, and with a high degree of competency.
REQUIREMENTS
Must possess, as a minimum, RN/BSN from an accredited college or university, BSN preferred. Three years clinical experience, geriatrics or rehabilitation preferred.
