Provide holistic, quality and cost-effective advanced practice care for patients, families and others in a target population. Participate in the medical management of patients to achieve or maintain optimal health status, manage disease and reduce risk of illness. Engage in independent decision-making regarding the health care of individuals, families and groups across the lifespan and across the health care continuum. QUALIFICATIONS: Master’s degree in Nursing and Nurse Practitioner certification is required. Current CT APRN license and current RN license both required. BLS and ACLS certification required with at least 2 years recent acute care/med surg, clinical experience preferred.
