VICE PRESIDENT SPECIAL EVENTS

The mission of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society is to end the devastating effects of MS.

The National MS Society Mid Florida Chapter is seeking a part time Event Coordinator. The Society and its network of chapters nationwide promote research; educate; advocate on critical issues; and organize a wide range of programs — including support for the newly diagnosed and those living with MS over time.

Founded in 1958, the Mid Florida Chapter of the National M.S. Society serves more than 70,000 people in a 23 county area, including family members, friends, caregivers, and employers. There are an estimated 10,000 people in Mid Florida living with MS.

With a wide range of services including: educational programs, self-help groups, research, medical equipment loan closets, transportation, literature, referrals, information and advocacy, the Mid Florida Chapter is proud to be a source of empowerment for those living with MS.
REQUIREMENTS
The National MS Society is seeking an organized and detail oriented team player to assist with logistical aspects of our annual MS 150 Bike Tour fundraiser.
Familiarity with MS Office Suite is a necessity.
Strong interpersonal skills a must.
Hours are approximately 20-25 hrs per week with some evening and weekend hours required.
Must be able to travel within a 5 county area.
