SURGICAL COORDINATOR

At Gift of Hope Organ & Tissue Donor Network, we are dedicated to provide the highest quality customer service to families and hospitals in our effort to procure organ and tissue donations.

We are seeking experienced Surgical Coordinators to handle allocation of extra-renal organs; machine preservation of kidneys; packaging and labeling of organs for transplant or research; provide in-person evaluation and follow-up of potential organ referral; maintain or collect data relevant to kidney perfusion or organ placement.
REQUIREMENTS
•Associates degree in one of the Health Sciences;
•LPN or EMT-P with at least 2 years experience; or
•Certified Surgical Technologist with at least 1 year of experience or previous experience in organ procurement/perfusion.
•Ability to take call.
•Excellent sterile technique skills and sound clinical knowledge required.
•Must be detailed oriented, travel by personal automobile to assignments and work outside of normal business hours.
