Program Evaluation Associate

The Program Evaluation Associate will assist in furthering the organization’s capacity in program evaluation and information management, and to provide analytic and other support for organizational development. The specific responsibilities of the position shall include, but are not limited to:

1. Provides project support to executive staff.
2. Assists with the development, coordination and implementation of outcome measurement systems for program accreditation.
3. Assists with the development, coordination and implementation of agency’s Quality Systems.
4. Assists with the development, coordination and implementation of agency’s performance measurement systems.
5. Assists with the development and implementation of evaluation and planning studies and projects for SJCS state and program operations and grants, and for technical assistance contracts with other organizations.
6. Conceptualizes, constructs and manages database system.
7. Designs and uses data collection instruments.
8. Conducts surveys, interviews, focus groups, record reviews, site visits and other data collection activities.
9. Analyzes data and prepare reports.
10. Develops proposals primarily for federal, state and county grants and contracts.
11. Business development in the area of providing technical assistance to other organizations in program evaluation, planning and organizational development.
REQUIREMENTS
The incumbent must:Hold a Bachelor’s degree, Masters preferred, in psychology, vocational rehabilitation, education, or related field.A minimum of three to five years of experience with program evaluation or organizational development work is required, with a preference for experience in human/social services.Strong skills in designing and conducting evaluation and planning projects, instrument development, data collection, analysis and database management.Must have good oral and written communication abilitiesProficiency with standard Microsoft (Word, Access, Excel) and statistical (SPSS) applications.
