Program Administrator

The Arc of Union County serving individuals with developmental disabilities and their families for over 55 years is seeking a Program Administrator to join our team.

Reporting to the Director of Community Living, this position is responsible for the overall management and supervision of 4 assigned Residential Programs. Will directly supervise 4 on site supervisors.

The incumbent will have fiscal and programmatic over sight, will assure the development of staff competencies and the quality of service delivery in accord with a “Person Focused” philosophy. Will develop and maintain program policies and procedures to ensure the programs operate in a safe and efficient manner.

This position is responsible to ensure that all programming provides comprehensive successful efforts, which lead to the full inclusion of all consumers in community life and address their social, vocational, recreational, daily living and health & safety needs. The incumbent will also have a 24-hour on call responsibility.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in Special Education, Rehabilitation, or related field preferred. Three or more years experience with management responsibilities encompassing all areas above serving a population of adults with developmental disabilities. Must have thorough knowledge of all DDD, CARF, and other external regulations and requirements. Strong management, planning and communication skills. Must possess a valid NJ Drivers License.
