This candidate will solicit and secure major gifts with the goal of $250,000 in annual financial support; create customized solicitation strategies based on strategic objectives of the organization and interest of the donor; participate in the creation and expansion of overall fundraising strategy for individual major gifts based in a chapter for overall giving to ARC; coordinate services and support of several ARC departments in order to deliver ARC resources which lead to credible, individualized, highly-visible and strategic partnerships.

REQUIREMENTS
This position requires a Bachelor’s degree; a minimum of 5-7 years experience in major gift fundraising; excellent communications, presentation, and liaison skills; ability to operate independently and deal effectively and persuasively with corporate executives, management and staff; and extensive knowledge of fundraising principles and techniques with a proven ability to secure philanthropic donors for large organizations. This candidate must have a successful track record of solicitation of major gifts over $25,000. Experience with Raiser’s Edge a plus. Must be able to travel 20 %- 30%.
