Iris Home Program Manager
RESPONSIBILITIES:
•In the absence of the Program Director assume the operational responsibilities of the group home
•Oversee the proper use of equipment, security devices and other properties
•Meet with Nurse, Senior Case Manager, and other staff on a regular basis to review programming or clarify operation policy and procedures
• Provide crisis intervention to all residents dealing with acute/chronic psychiatric symptoms, take appropriate action when a client is suicidal, homicidal, or psychotic
•Develop and provided training and technical assistance to staff members
•Formulate and complete a detail client psychosocial assessments
•Provide individual, group, parent, family therapy and multi-family sessions
•Provide at least four clinical contact hours weekly per female client and three clinical contact hours weekly per family (when possible), in addition to three groups per week (group content tailored to the client’s cognitive and emotional level)
•Participate in one biweekly hour of supervision by the Program Director
•Participate in program meetings, notably including peer supervision, quality assurance/utilization review meetings
•Advocate for the client and client’s family in all forums
•Maintain accurate client records, statistics, treatment plan, daily progress notes, and other pertinent written data in a timely manner following agency guidelines
•Serve as liaison with the family’s other service providers
•Be available to school teachers and administrators to design and individually tailored behavior management plans which will assist in managing the client’s behavior during the school day
•Assume administrative –on- call responsibilities (AOC)
•In collaboration with the Senior Case Manager create and develop indoor and out weekly activities including connecting with local community agencies that gear to enhancing an adolescent’s growth and development
•Provide on-going follow-ups regarding case management, accident/incident reporting
•Attend all agency meetings, all-staff meetings, any out of office meetings, and specific management meetings
•Attend weekly clinical rounds meeting including multidisciplinary meetings, five days meetings, and educational meetings
Assist the Program Director in developing and facilitating a gender specific mentor program.

REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION: MA in Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work, or Psychology required plus three years experience. Licensure as LMFT, LCSW, LADC, or Board certified Psychologist required with two years experience.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS: Responsible for the provision of mental health services to clients living in a female only treatment group home, including assessment, treatment, discharge /aftercare planning, and supervisory responsibilities.
