Intake Administrator

Family and Children's Association Long Island Counseling Center an outpatient mental health and substance abuse clinic located in Elmont providing treatment for children and adults.

Responsible for Assessing incoming referrals(calls and walk-ins) for appropriateness for care and trreatment. Provide phone triage to callers in crisis and refer out if necessary. Work with fee department regarding caller insurance and collaborate with clinical team during case assignment.
REQUIREMENTS


Reauires: HS Diploma (Bachelor's preferred), 1-2 years experience ina mental health or social service agency. Basic computer skills. Ability to perform light clinical assessments.

Schedule: Full-Time Monday-Friday 9-5

This is a Union position.
