Group Home Supervisor

JOB SUMMARY: Positions located in Naperville, IL. Residential group home for teenage girls. Provide general day-to-day management of assigned Group home. Supervise and coordinate job related activities of Group home staff and ensure the safety and well being of group home residents. Ensure proper coverage of Group home; this includes scheduling staff, providing back up coverage, when necessary and coordinating services. Carry 24-hour pager, on a rotating basis, to provide on call coverage of home. Maintain Group Home in an orderly condition, assuring that physical, emotional and medical needs of residents are met. Also responsible for ensuring facility is adequately maintained. Participate in weekly supervision team meetings, individual and group conferences and staff meetings. Serve as surrogate parent for clients. Manage and monitor house budget. Act as liaison to community, schools, families and other external resources as needed.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications: Master's degree in Human Service or other related field and minimum 3-5 years direct care experience in a residential or like facility required. Supervisory experience and clinical experience working with adolescent population highly preferred. LCSW or LCPC highly desired.. Must have and maintain DCFS driving standards. Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Word required. Minorities are encouraged to apply.
