Director of Human Resources

Divine Providence Village, a non-profit ICF/MR (Intermediate Care Facility/Mental Retardation)facility providing residential care and habilitation to developmentally impaired individuals, has an immediate opening for a Director of Human Resources. In this capacity, the successful candidate will be responsible for all organizational human resources activities, following applicable Federal, State and local regulations, standards and guidelines and advising administration on personnel-related issues.

laws and regulations
• Salary and wage administration
• Workers’ compensation
• Recruitment and retention
• Employee relations
• Benefits administration
• Staffing

REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor degree in Human Resources Management or related
discipline
• At least 5 years experience in human resources
• Good problem solving skills
• Ability to make independent decisions
• Ability to work well independently or as a member of a team
• Good organizational and communication skills
• PHR certification desired but not necessary
• Demonstrated computer skills
• Initiative and ability to plan/complete projects
