Director of Development (LOUISVILLE)

The Director of Development, based in Louisville, is responsible for special event fundraising, special campaigns, major gifts and planned giving. Reporting to the Louisville, Kentucky headquarters Vice President of Development and Communications, the Director builds relationships and manages fundraising programs which advance the success of human services programs in communities served by Volunteers of America.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree and three years of successful multi-faceted development experience including major gifts, special events, corporate relations, grant writing, communications, and volunteer managment. Excellent oral and written communications skills; experience working with volunteers and boards a plus. Knowledge of MS Office and Raiser’s Edge. CFRE preferred.
